SUNFLOWER SEEDS

are the fruit of the sunflower – a beautiful plant with important role in world food industry. There are of course good reasons for this starting with the fact that over 50% of a sunflower seed is oils – these seeds are one of the main sources of polyunsaturated oil. Sunflower seeds are full with various minerals each contributing to your well being: calming magnesium, phytosterols for lower cholesterol, detoxification and cancer prevention from the selenium. And there is so much vitamin E in them, that a serving of sunflower seeds will provide you body with over 80% of the daily value.

ORGANIC BUCKWHEAT

Originating from Asia, it is actually not wheat, it is more related to rhubarb than to any wheat. It is grain-like though and this is why it has been cultivated. It can have the same culinary applications as wheats – in the form of grains, flakes or flour. However, due to the high concentration of amino acids in buckwheat, its protein content is as high as over 13%. It is also rich in iron and zinc, dietary fibres and B vitamins.
